Updated the enemy transition, now it has some sprite masking flair!​

Cacti Brawler is now awake and VERY angry! Stay away from his cactus! (ignore the gulpinokos that are in the battle lol)

You can parry back projectiles back at the enemy to deal some extra damage! Can't do it to everything though!

Skills are back and quicker than ever! Plus with a couple extra handy effects and animations to really make them more appealing!

Short and sweet progress update :3

I never really made any posts on newgrounds before, but with the new site layout I am more than willing to use this site as a place to post Blue Omen progress. 

This is just showcasing how when opening "chests" you are able to physically see the object when it comes out. No real reason other than it looks cool!

I took a break from overworld to focus on the battles. Here it shows the parrying mechanic, which can be used to stop enemies in their tracks or even clash with their attack giving you a chance to strike back! Though if you do it too late they will just guard the attack. Mamabear isn't that complicated of an enemy so this only scratching the surface of what parrying will be able to do.

Finally here are some new enemies! The CactiBrawler. These little dudes love cacti just as much as they love tossing into peoples heads! They can do a straight throw or they lob it into the air. These little guys still need a bit more polish, but right now they're great fun!

This will be the only kind of content I will be pushing to newgrounds, though I might do some tutorial tier stuff in the future. WE WILL SEE BYE BYE NOW!
